Originally written in 2013: This is a song about fish.
A lot of my songs end up being a little sad in some sense. I decided to try to make a happier song. Even with that task, I still managed to sneak death in there.
Wouldn't it be nice to be someone's fish?
lyrics
Moving around
I don't make a sound
My world floats along
In a beautiful song
There's nothing better
Than pleasant weather
It's easier to eat
Without any feet
Koi
There's nothing wrong
Here in my pond
We're never cold
We never grow old
I laugh and grow fat
Right here where I'm at
It's easy to swim
When lights don't grow dim
Koi
We're orange and white
Pretty and light
We're red and gold
And our blood is cold
The invincible humans
Are our mighty servants
We don't have a worry
Because we're not furry
Life's simply perfect
Nobody objects
I've plenty of food
And I never lose
I know I will die
But I will not cry
'Cause my life is ultimate bliss
And I will be missed
Koi
